Bayesian approach to image interpretation
Image interpretation is a high-level vision task which focuses on giving semantic description to regions in an image. There exists vast literature on image interpretation because of its use in very many applications in varied fields. In general, the process of low-level vision task of segmentation precedes the process of interpretation. Interpretation of the segmented regions itself uses a priori domain knowledge in some form or another.
